Hey i'm Mars <3
the founder of Life on Mars, a trans joy-centered streetwear brand.
I started this brand in 2018 with just 20 bucks in my bank account and a dream. I screen printed all the shirts myself and sold them off Venmo. It was a humble beginning, but I knew I wanted to create something that would spread the message of trans joy and make a difference in the world.
Over the years, I've created hundreds of designs and shipped them to almost every country. Life on Mars has become a symbol of hope and joy for the trans community, and I'm so proud of what we've accomplished.
As we approach Pride season, I want to remind everyone that queer and trans people have been doing this work for the community for years! While corporate brands may preach about pride, we know that true change comes from grassroots movements and community-led initiatives.
I believe that fashion can be a powerful tool for social change. I want to create clothing that not only looks good but also makes you feel good and spreads a message of hope and joy.
I am committed to using my platform to uplift trans voices and create a more inclusive world. I donate a portion of the proceeds to the Unique Woman's Coalition, the longest-standing Black Trans-led org in Los Angeles.
