How to dress to look taller for Transmasculine folks

1. Wear good fitting clothes:

Clothing that fits well and hugs your body can create a streamlined and elongated silhouette, making you look taller. Avoid baggy or oversized clothing that can make you appear shorter. I know it seems like hiding in that oversized dysphoria hoodie is the move and sometimes it is but try to spice it up <3

2. Choose vertical patterns

Vertical stripes or patterns can visually lengthen your body, making you look taller. You can shop my Coming  Back to Myself sweater for a good example of a “make me look taller” pattern lol

3. Wear fitted pants with a higher rise

Pants that fit well and sit at your natural waist can help create a longer leg line, making you look taller. Avoid low-rise pants, as they can make your legs look shorter.

4. Choose the right footwear

Wearing shoes with a slight heel or a taller sole can add a few inches to your height.

5. Consider body shape and proportions

Different body shapes may require different strategies for creating a taller appearance. For example, if you have a shorter torso and longer legs, you may want to focus on elongating your upper body with jackets that hit at the hip. Experiment with different cuts and styles to find what works best for your body shape.

6. Experiment with accessories

Adding accessories, such as scarves or hats, can draw attention upward and create a taller appearance. Check out my hats here.

7. Follow your style intuition

Remember, the most important thing is to dress in a way that makes you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin! Embrace your unique style and wear what makes you feel good about yourself!
